AP Newsfinder Service Commitment 2006 is AP Newsfinder's 21st year of service to the non-daily newspaper market. This longevity is considerably due to our dedication to serving the needs of our members. We do not sell the service and then abandon the member. We are a service organization as much, or more, than a sales organization. In fact, Newsfinder members are not customers. They are members. Newsfinder members become associate members of The AP, the world's largest news gathering organization. We offer a toll-free 800 number for support at any time after joining Newsfinder. This is consistent with how The Associated Press interacts with its daily members. There is no limit to the amount of editorial or technical support you are entitled to. It is unlimited. We help members find stories, find photos, deal with browser issues, cookies, pop-up blockers - whatever. Members can call us for support, and the call is free. Curiously, in the beginning in the late eighties we produced a gorgeous three-ringed binder that was a complete User's Guide to the service. Members never read it. They trained themselves to simply pick up the phone and call the 800 number for an immediate answer to their question. After awhile and thousands of dollars later we abandoned the user guide and just devoted ourselves to direct, free, telephone support. Please review the Testimonials page to read how some of the Black Press members of Newsfinder feel about our service. |
