AP Images Help & Training Page
Some Tips and Information to Get Started with AP Images. 1. Your Photo Username is in an
"email" format but is simply your regular username with @
newsfinder appended to the end. 2. Your Password is the same password you have always used, and now neither the Username nor Password are case-sensitive. 3. The login URL for the new AP Images (for now) is http://apimages.ap.org/ 4. The new system uses full double quotes for strings. So use "George Bush" not 'George Bush' or use "acquired immune deficiency" not 'acquired immune deficiency'. This is the reverse between the new AP Images platform and the old one. 5. The new system allows "Saved Searches." We expect them to help you, and we will help you also by populating them, and by taking your phone call or email request for specific requests. We are here to help with ANYTHING, so give us a call - 800.922.4655. Now for the videos. We have made an attempt to both teach and entertain you with videos of various features of the new system. Please use them as you see fit, and feel free to offer feedback. You will want a broadband connection to make good use of the videos and they are best viewed on a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 and larger is better. |
